Listening Room

For over a decade the European Street Cafe in San Marco has presented some of the finest touring and local singer/songwriters in an intimate listening room environment.

We've had Grammy nominees like Steve Forbert, Alison Brown, Steep Canyon Rangers and Claire Lynch. We do the same thing at Beach near University every Saturday night starting at 8:00. We have a live jazz series at San Marco on the second Tuesday of every month starting at 8:00. Jazz is at Beach near University on the fourth Tuesday of every month starting at 8:00 pm.

Not your average Jacksonville bar scene jazz, ours is presented in a listening room environment where it's about appreciating the music and the musicians.  It is not just background music while you get your drink on. Think of it like this:  What the San Marco drafthouse is to AMC Theatres we are to the Florida Theatre. It is the same great experience, you just get to eat and drink at your table while you're enjoying it.
